Popped Up Group and Adrian Tullett, our head of Operations have surpassed themselves building and managing the whole project from start to finish, I’m not sure how Bryan and I are alive still with all of the changes we made. 😂 (Bryan made more than me!)

Popped Up Group specialise in providing a wide range of new modular buildings, as well as used portable buildings, portable cabins and temporary buildings.

In every business there is an organisational flow chart, it starts with directors and flows down to the people who work for them, right?

At Grange Travel, that chart is turned upside down and at the top, it starts with our drivers.

They are the most important people in our business. Without these guys we are nothing.

They are the face of our company, they keep the wheels turning, they are our ambassadors and ensure we get repeat business.

We will forever be indebted to these people and they are the backbone of our operation.

Below are a few of our amazing team, I’m lucky I got them all together, but I’m not forgetting the others all around the UK getting sh*t done 😎

Throwback day today, this picture was taken at the last champions league final in 2013, I was driving a group of Bayern supporters.
Me and dad had a handful of minibuses back then.
Today we have 45 vehicles at Wembley for this years final for major sponsors of the tournament!
Hard work and dedication from everyone over the years has got us to where we are now. We have an amazing team that is still growing.

Good morning all,

A bit of a long and different post today!

We love our jobs. We love the people we work with and we love the town where we operate.

Gravesend is a bustling, busy, diverse and cultural place, it is awash with independent, small family run businesses and is abundant with community and history.

Grange Travel has and will always be a stitch in the fabric of Gravesend and we are proud to operate and contribute to the town and the wider reaches of the borough.

At Grange Travel we deliver a vast portfolio of duties and no two days are the same.

In the early hours of Thursday morning we were victim to a suspected arson attack and sadly 3 of our commercial vehicles along with some cars perished in a devastating fire.

The local newspapers have reported it was an accident but this is not true. They are also awash with incorrect information such as we tried to put out the fire with an extinguisher! Also not true!

Kent police have been amazing at their skill and have been supportive throughout the whole process however due to an ongoing investigation we are unable to comment any further at this time.

Be assured that if and when we do find out the truth it will be shared.

Although we lost vehicles, we are lucky, vehicles can be replaced, people can’t, and we thank our lucky stars no one got hurt.

On Friday we had 70 jobs on our system and even without the 3 coaches we lost in the fire we delivered every single service without letting any of our clients down. That is a success story in itself!

We as a business want to thank the people that have supported this week, our suppliers, our clients and our workforce. You know who you are and we are forever grateful to you all.

So yes it has been a bad week at Grange Travel but every experience, no matter how bad it seems holds within it a blessing of some kind and our goal is to find it and so onwards and upwards we go.
