I'm not convinced I'll be taking our latest foster to either bungalow as she is already an escape artist and is so huge she could step over the gate and go on an adventure.

Holidays with your dogs on Norfolk's beautiful south coast. (Hemsby/Winterton border and Scratby coast)

"Dawn" has a beautiful sea view and is a few mins walk from the Winterton Valley with miles of safe off lead dog walking, with the vast beach the other side of the dunes. No nearby roads or traffic for at least half a mile, all you will hear is the sea and sea birds.
"Eve" has a panoramic sea view, beautiful peaceful gardens and is a few mins walk from the beach. Dog friendly pubs and cafes ten mins stroll along a quiet lane or along the coast path.
Available all year for short breaks (Mon-Fri /Fri-Mon) or week long breaks arriving on Monday or Friday. Very popular with repeat guests who book most years. Plenty of Spring and Summer breaks available. The website below has a calendar with dates and prices or please message asking.

Off peak breaks available at both beautifully appointed bungalows on Norfolk's south east coast.
Detached, with sea views and just a few mins walk to a huge sandy beach, dog friendly pubs/cafes and the Norfolk Coastal footpath.
🏡 Both have pretty gardens, with concrete based fencing (4 feet at the lowest point), WiFi, logburner, smart TVs in bedrooms and lounge, cosy conservatorys with tons of dvds and board games, and are in very peaceful locations, away from traffic.
🛌 Both sleep four in two bedrooms (Eve has ensuites in each, Dawn had one bathroom) Towels and linen supplied.
🧑‍🍳 Many great reviews by repeat guests who find the bungalows homely and comfortable with everything you'd have at home, a tall fridge-freezer, family sized slow cooker, plenty of baking/cooking equipment, washer and dryer etc.
🐕🐾 Fully pet welcoming. Wooden/tiled floors throughout with rugs. Leather sofas (please supply own throws and doggy towels)
🐩🐶 We welcome up to 4 pets free of charge but please ask if you have more - we rarely say no.
🚶🛝🦭10 mins drive to Great Yarmouth and Horsey Beach seal colony. Nearby attractions include Wroxham Barns, Thrigby Hall Wildlife Gardens, and a huge variety of amusements, restaurants, cafes, wine bars.
We're booked both Christmas and New Year, but have gaps here and there between now and Christmas, and plenty of availability after Jan 5th with off peak prices ending mid March, and taking 2024/25 bookings also with very limited summer availability

A few seal-baby snaps from last weekend. There were 7 baby seals on the stretch of beach I walked on, but I've since heard more than 25 have been born this week so I'm heading back this weekend for another look. Both bungalows are pretty much full up until after New Year now, but lots of off peak availability after that up until early March. If you fancy popping along please have a look at our website for dates. Prices are £260 for 3 nights and £499 for 7 nights.

It's the best time of the year 🎵🎶 seal pup season!
Plenty of off-peak availability starting from £198 for a 2 night break. Gorgeous sea view, sandy beach, logburner, cosy and snug. But the best thing? Peace and quiet!! Come and have a brisk walk along the beach and blow the cobwebs away.

I'll be back on the cliff tops this week helping keep the seals safe from humans. Most (99%) of visitors are completely respectful and love seeing the seals, and learning about why they choose Horsey etc. The seals are cheeky and seem to know how special they are. You can visit them from now up to mid Feb and watch them from the dunes. The beach is roped off until the pups are all born to protect them. The Nelson Head is a fabulous pub for a meal afterwards, and is just half a mile along the beach footpath. Stay at either bungalow over the winter period, from £199 for 2 nights.
