Limited weekend availability.

Situated on site is an 18 hole golf course, two bar and restaurants and a swimming pool, whirlpool bath and steam room.

Something I’ve wanted for 10 years…..!! It’s happening today!

So….to make it easier for guests, I’ve had the side veranda dismantled and rebuilt the other way round, so the new pathway meets the bottom of the steps, which is next to the new gravel driveway. Less mud trampled into the Vansion!

New lighting, planting and more to come! New turfing to be laid soon!

That’s it. Veranda is gone - my Vansion is being moved to the new place tomorrow.

Very emotional weekend - saying goodbye.

That’s it for me at Hopton. After 10 wonderful years, many many amazing memories.

Thank you to every single guest that’s stayed at Sam’s Posh Van. You’ve all been truely wonderful.

I hope to welcome many of you to my new home

We popped into the new place this afternoon for coffee…! ☕️

It’s so beautiful, so tranquil… the main restaurant was full, with people enjoying a carvery, so we popped next door to the retreat…

So blessed to have found this place…

I bought the Vansion 10 years and one day ago.

It’s given me so so so many happy memories, and I’ve had lots of amazing guests in that time!

I’ve decided that it’s time to move to pastures new.

Next month, I’ll be moving my van to the beautiful golf and spa retreat Caldecott Hall Country Park. ( 15 minutes away from Hopton )

It’s been a tough decsion as we love Hopton so much, but after 10 years, it’s time to move.

I’ll be continuing to rent out at the new place- albeit it very much different to Haven, and hopefully will welcome some of my past guests who fancy a quieter break.

Thank you to each and every one of my past guests who have all looked after my little piece of heaven for me.

I’ve just returned from a lovely weekend on another Haven park 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

I only booked a Bronze…. It was a brand new van - lovely - but it really brought home to me - what I provide to my guests - and what was missing….

This is not Haven bashing..! Far from it - was a lovely brand new van - but missing some basics…

I like to think I provide for my guests…! These are the few things I missed this weekend

❌ sockets next to the bed!! ( no where to plug my phone in!) ( and my fan😂)

❌ non stick frying pans!

❌ toilet paper on arrival

❌ washing up liquid - sponges

❌ patio doors…

❌ radiators…! ( it has blow heating )

❌ storage on back of the doors

❌ beds made on arrival

❌ hangers in wardrobe ( we couldn’t hang our clothes

❌ tea towels

❌ no veranda..!

❌ very little storage

❌ oven gloves!

No biggies - but made me realise what helps the holiday along when you have all this stuff…!

As the summer holidays start tomorrow.

I’m so so so thankful that I have returning guests, and lovely new guests - all ready to enjoy their summer holiday at the Vansion.

I’m not a huge company - just me, with my one van - and it’s so lovely that so many come back!

This year I welcome some of my lovely MK work colleagues too ( 15 years after I left ) means the world that you all support me, and I try my best to give you all the lovliest place to holiday!
