Good Morning Wild Duck Owners,

Just a polite reminder that our office will be closed from today (Friday 20th December) at 4pm until Monday 6th January at 9am.

This is to allow our teams some valuable time at home with their loved ones over the festive period.

Any calls you may make over this festive time will be redirected straight to head office!

With this in mind please be aware that the park will be closed to any visitors during this time so unfortunately you will be unable to pop in and check on your holiday home. Don't worry though, our fabulous Security Team will continue to make sure everything is safe and secure!

SEASONS GREETINGS FROM YOUR GM & THE WILD DUCK TEAM

As the majority of the park team now begin their annual holidays, I wanted to take the opportunity to wish you all a Merry Christmas and an enjoyable winter break.

It’s been a wonderful season, and despite a rather soggy start to the year we were blessed with a beautiful warm and sunny summer! The warmer temperatures just kept on giving, and right up to Halloween, guests and owners could be seen out and about in short sleeves and unseasonable clothing! (Hats off to the brave owner I saw in shorts!!).

Wild Duck would not be the same without our Owners. You bring life to our park and a wonderful sense of community. I want to thank you personally for choosing our beautiful park as a place to spend time with your family and friends and I hope you have enjoyed the 2024 season as much as we have.

Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and we can’t wait to welcome you back for the 2025 season, when we are lucky to be able to do it all over again!!

Good Morning Wild Duck Owners,

Sadly today marks our last day of season with you all!
We hope you have had a wonderful season with us, but all good things must come to an end.

Please read to the end of the post as there is some important information regarding access to your holiday homes.

If you are still on park you are welcome to join me in the Coffee Lounge at 11am for a final farewell Coffee Morning. You can even bring your own Mince Pies should you wish!

Just a reminder you are not permitted to stay on park tonight.

Should you wish to visit your holiday home throughout our closed winter period you can access them during the hours of 10am-4pm until Friday 20th December 2024.
The park will then reopen on Monday 6th January should you wish to visit. We just remind you that your caravans will be drained down so you won't be able to use anything in your vans. Reception will be open if you want a quick cuppa as will the Merry Mallard toilets should you need to use the facilities.

From tomorrow (Sunday 1st December) the office will be closing at the earlier time of 4pm so should you wish to pay anything off your accounts, please bare this in mind.

Good Morning Wild Duck Owners!

As some of you may know we restarted our Snooker League in July and I've finally got round to working out who the winner was!

In 3rd place we have: Richard, Josh & Dave all scoring 8 points!
In 2nd place we have: Lewis scoring 9 points.
In 1st place with 11 points our winner is: ANDY!

A big well done for winning and a big thank you to everyone who took part!

We will start our next Snooker League on Saturday 8th March at 11am and it will continue to take place on the 1st Saturday of every month! We hope to see some more of you joining us ☺️

The Woodpecker Glade Laundrette however is open!

We are going into our final days of the season and I have a few small things planned if you are still here on park.
Here is what is on:

Monday 25th November
11.00: Farewell Coffee Morning. Please bring your own mince pies if you fancy one.

Tuesday 26th November
11.00: Adult Darts. Please meet by the Darts Board for our final game of the season.

Wednesday 27th November
11.00: Adult Game of Yahtzee. Please meet in the Mini Lounge.

Friday 29th November
11.00: Adult Snooker. Please meet by the Snooker Table for one final game.
14.00: Knit & Natter. Please meet in the Coffee Lounge.

Saturday 30th November
11.00: Final Farewell Coffee Morning. Please bring your own mince pies should you want one.

Please remember you must be off park by 11.59pm on Saturday 30th November and to turn your stopcocks off when you go.

What a wonderful day and night we had on Saturday! Christmas dinner, Maz’s night of fun & some karaoke! I didn’t take a lot of pictures (they are mostly Emma’s!) so if you took any we would love to see them!

Here is a reminder of what's on this weekend!

Friday 22nd November
11.00: Adult Darts. Please meet in by the Dart Board.
14.00: Adult Diamond. Please meet in the Mini Lounge and I will put out a mix of Diamond Art that we have left 🙂 (there are still plenty of Xmas keyrings too :)) If you have any unfinished projects you can also bring those along 🙂.

Saturday 23rd November
12.00-18.00: Bookable Christmas Dinner. During this time the Sitting Duck will only be open to those who have booked Xmas dinner, no other food will be available.

Please make sure you arrive promptly at the start of the time slot you have booked. You will have roughly 2 hours to enjoy your time slot. Any spare Pigs in Blankets I'll happily help them disappear 😉. (just kidding!)

19.00: Maz's Xmas Night. Please meet in the Sitting Duck 🙂
22.00-23.00: Karaoke in the Sitting Duck. Please note the venue will be closing at 23.30 so last orders will be at 23.00.

Good Afternoon Wild Duck Owners.

We just wanted to update you on the opening times for the on park Mini Market this weekend.

They will now be as follows:

Friday 22nd November: 9am-12pm & 3.30pm-7pm
Saturday 23rd November: 9am-12pm & 3.30pm-7pm
Sunday 24th November: 9am-2.30pm
Monday 25th November: 9am-12pm.

The shop will then remain closed until 2025.

Today Ned, Polly & Queen Bee came to join us for some of our Classic Playground Games! They joined us for What's the time Mrs Bee, Duck Duck Bee & a little bit of stuck in the mud! Thank you to the kids, Ned, Polly, Queen Bee & Al for coming to join us!

Good Afternoon Wild Duck Owners. Please see your raffle winners in the video below! Arron will be calling you shortly too! All prizes can be collected from reception 😊 In total for Stonewall we raised £557.00 & anything paid on card went straight to Cancer Research which was another £140!
