This delightful seaside village boasts pale sandy beaches and miles of sand dunes, making Winterton on Sea a great location for a quiet and traditional family beach holiday. The dunes form part of Winterton Dunes Nature Reserve with an abundan

ce of foot paths it's a great place to wander and observe wildlife, perfect for bird-watchers and also home to the rare Natterjack toad. The recently restored Winterton church tower is the 3rd highest in Norfolk and is open to the public on various weekends over the summer. Just a short drive and you will find yourselves in the middle of the famous Norfolk Broads, why not hire a day boat to really explore these outstanding water-ways, or maybe indulge in a bit of riverside fishing.

Well..... what a difficult and challenging year in so many ways.

I’d like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank all of my lovely visitors to Eastwyn this year and a very special thank you to those that have had to cancel this year’s bookings and transfer to 2021, I’ve really missed seeing you and can’t wait to welcome you back next year.

The sea and the seals have taken over the beach today. Very high tides right now which very sadly have led to the permanent closing of our beach cafe😢, I know so many of you will miss it but hopefully new beginnings for the new year🤞Lots of tears today, big hugs to Jan, onwards and upwards❤️
