Still unable to visit the battlefields. I have never had so long away from them in over 20 years. I hope that a return in the late summer might take place. 2022 holds some promise. I will keep this site updated. This picture is from an Australian tour in 2019 where the first few days were spent in the UK. It is of a stained glass window at Stinsford Church, Dorset. In the churchyard lies the heart of one of our most loved poets, Thomas Hardy; his body is in Westminster Abbey.
