We have been dealing with South Africa as a tourist destination since prior to the majority-rule government of 1995, when only a handful of tour operators in the UK were selling the country. We have seen the product develop, and visitor numbers increase from the hundreds, to hundreds of thousands. Throughout this process we have been building relationships and refining our offering, to a point whe
re we don't believe our knowledge, contacts and expertise can be bettered. Similarly we have been dealing in Zimbabwe, Zambia, Botswana, Namibia, Mauritius and the Seychelles for 20+ years. We have been part of the growth of these countries as tourist destinations, and again we have developed relationships and expertise that enable us to offer a peerless service and knowledge. In East Africa (Kenya & Tanzania) and Central East Africa (Malawi, Rwanda, Uganda) we work with some of the most experienced operations on the ground in each country, bringing with them a wealth of experience.
Day three! Kirsty ventured out of Cape Town to the stunning setting of Franschhoek in the Cape Winelands. The remarkable Leeu Estate played host this time, with a visit to Le Quartier Francais for a wine tasting and dinner that Kirsty dubbed "wow factor off the Richter scale"! She is sad to be leaving, but what awaits her next is sure to be just as incredible...
Day Two! Kirsty moved across Cape Town to the beautiful Ellerman House in Camps Bay. She was greeted by more sunny skies, and even more amazing hospitality.

Following a stay in Chobe, Rebecca took a light aircraft flight over to the Okavango Delta region, to explore this wildlife rich area. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the lush landscape of the Delta is made up largely of winding waterways. A traditional Mokoro boat trip is the best way to get up close to the nature in this region. Rebecca had a unique sundowner drink, with the table set up in the ankle deep water of the delta! The Moremi Game Reserve offers amazing game viewing by vehicle, as well as year round water activities.
After her first stop in Victoria Falls, Rebecca hopped over the border to Botswana to embark on a safari in the Chobe National Park, as well as paying a visit to BTTE in Kasane to catch up with the latest news in the Botswana Tourism circles, as well as partners on the ground.
A safari in Chobe National Park offers the best of both worlds on safari, with drives through the game abundant park and boat cruises along the Chobe river both on offer. Solar powered boats and vehicles are on offer as part of the company’s focus on sustainability, and have the added benefit of being quieter than regular vehicles - perfect for sneaking up on the more skittish animals of the bush!
