Markets galore this weekend in Guildford High Street!
Friday 13th - Sunday 15th for the Gift & Craft Market in the Guildhall 10.00 - 17.00.
Saturday 14th for the Guildford Makers Market in Holy Trinity Church 10.00 - 17.00, as well as the Festive Arts & Makers Market in the High Street 10.00 - 16.00.
Sunday 15th for the Antiques & Brocante Market in the High Street 10.00 - 16.00.

Oh and don't forget the extra Farmers Market in the High Street, next Tuesday 17th 09.30 - 15.00!

Due to high winds, we have made the difficult decision to close Illuminate this evening, to ensure the safety of our visitors. Guests with tickets for tonight's event will be contacted soon with information on how to reschedule their visit. Thank you for your understanding.

Guildford Children's Business Fair, with loads of stalls selling a variety of gifts created by the entrepreneurs of the future! Why not pop in for those last minute Christmas presents or maybe just to indulge yourself?
Closes at 3pm this afternoon.

For everyone's safety, due to forecast high winds, Hatchlands Park will be closed tomorrow, Saturday 7th December.
Please check our website before visiting on Sunday. We may be closed again due to the adverse weather, or have to open later to perform tree safety checks.
Father Christmas visits have been cancelled for the whole weekend (7th/8th Dec). Ticketholders have been contacted separately and will be refunded.

Santa wants everyone to be safe this festive period so, we're sad to say that Saturday's Swingbridge Santa cruises have been cancelled due to the weather warning. Please contact The Electric Theatre in Guildford for a refund or to book for another time.

Come along to the German Mini Christmas Market this Sunday 1st December 2024.
Organised by Guildford Twinning Association, you will be able to indulge in the festive spirit and enjoy a wonderful selection of German bakery treats, wooden toys, gifts, stocking fillers. Sip on traditional Gluhwien and capture the perfect Christmas selfie at the special Selfie Scene!

Head to Guildford High Street on Sunday 8th December for our Christmas Festive Market, between 10am and 4pm. You will find a superb array of food, drink and gifts on sale and also the kids will have the opportunity to enjoy bouncy trampolines on the Rotunda at the bottom of North Street.

Guildford House Gallery, including the Tourist Information Centre and Brew House Shop will close at 15.30 on Thursday 28th November to set up for a private function.

When open, do come and discover the stunning new contemporary art exhibition where you will see works across painting, sculpture, print, photography and much more.

Guildford Open House Exhibition is free to see. Tuesday to Saturday 10.00 - 16.00

Are you ready to let the magic of the festive season fill our town centre? Join us today at our Festive Family Fun Day! 🌟❄️

Given the extreme weather forecast for today, we have taken the difficult decision to postpone the market stalls and cancel some of the outdoor activities planned, including the parade.

There will still be lots to see and do safely though. The Christmas stalls in the Guildhall will continue to bring some Christmas joy and there will be a sprinkling of festive fun in Tunsgate and from the Guildhall balcony.
