Como Cocoa Island could known as one of the Maldives’ beloved Peter Pan spots…. It is a long standing favourite, it never grows old and holds a really magical place in the hearts who have been lucky enough to discover it.

A short and extremely easy 45 min speed boat ride doesn’t take you into the middle of nowhere, it’s true, but there’s an essence to the way Como Hotels have created this beauty that makes you feel deserted and cocooned.

Most guests are adults (kids are allowed, just not for those seeking childcare or entertainment!), it’s not all inclusive and all room types are over the water. This gives a chilled vibe that stands out over other larger or more inclusive islands. Even having only one restaurant should never deter- the familiarity simply adds to the feeling of being at home here.

I think you’ll find your Neverland here too….

Talking to a customer about Parklane, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, Limassol in Cyprus earlier had me looking back over my visit there. Such a brilliant option for families in particular. One of the best kids clubs in Europe. The pool is massive, a lovely beach, and the food… 😋

(And the bonus is that there’s still some excellent offers there for Easter school holidays!)

My favourite tipple, a room with a view, happy children... that’s MY perfect holiday moment. But I haven’t got it right. To some, finishing a 50km cycle ride, or not seeing a soul from arrival to departure is more their bag. That’s YOUR right.
