Kitchen cater for the basic needs, Kettle, toaster, Microwave, Fridge, hot water on demand. Guests can also use the BBQ – However for those who prefer to eat out, there are some great local pubs

Owner _ Simon Alford, I live in the old chapel next to the Cottage garden and I am always on hand if you have any questions and am happy to give recommendations on the many beautiful places you can visit locally, weather it’s on a great walk on the moors or woodlands, or to some of the beautiful beaches, as well as excellent places to eat and drink

Thimble Lodge is built on the grounds of Thimble Hall. Thimble Hall was designed by renowned architect, Piers St Aubin, who was also responsible for other notable buildings, including the Victorian wing of St Michael's Mount in Cornwall. Although the church was never consecrated, it was used by the local congregation for a number of years before being converted into a private residence in the 1980s. The grounds of Thimble Hall include the cottage garden in which Thimble Lodge is situated and the fields below that leads down towards the Tamar Valley.
The Log Cabin is made from solid Oak logs that have been individually scored to sit perfectly on top of each other, something that you would only see in Scandinavia or the wild wilderness of Canada. It has been kept in its original format offering a single accommodation in the main cabin with soft lighting, real wood burner all decorated to offer a warm and cosy snug. Kept seperate from inside the Cabin, we have added a new extension giving your own private bathroom and kitchen.
