⚠️EMERGENCY ROAD CLOSURE⚠️
A22 Hailsham Bypass, Hailsham is currently closed for an emergency, this is due to a hazardous substance on the carriageway. This is on the Northbound carriageway only from The Diplocks Roundabout to Boship Roundabout. The road will be reopened once this has been removed. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused.

FREE electric blanket testing!

Please spread the word about our free testing sessions taking place in Fire stations and community halls across East Sussex and Brighton & Hove commencing on Monday 14th October.

Please note: when bringing your Electric Blankets, please ensure you include the leads and plugs that came with the blanket. They cannot be tested without them.

Partners will also be offering advice and information around keeping warm , scam awareness, healthy lifestyles and benefit advice.

We're working with Eastbourne Airbourne for a special, four-day Park & Ride service for the town’s airshow!

Running from Thursday 17th August to Sunday 20th August, you can park at 5 Acre Field and travel stress-free to the Pier.

With buses running every 15 minutes to and from the seafront, the special service reduces congestion in the town centre and gets you to the best spot in town to watch the air show and fireworks!

Uh oh! Our newspaper stock is running low and we are desperately in need of some more. Do you have any clean newspaper without staples that you could kindly donate?

We use newspaper to line all of our small animal enclosures which means we get through a lot! Our smaller rodents also enjoy making nests with it, so if you have some newspapers stashed away that you do not need, please drop them off to our Welcome Team at the entrance.

We are unable to accept any shredded paper. Thank you to anyone that may be able to help!

It was nice to see members of the public at the Warm Hub again today having a Cuppa and a Chat at the James West Community Centre 💞
"Pass it On" Community Food was yet another busy session run by the great volunteers and Zoe 💞
Anne Marie Rickets and Jenna from Sunflowers have given there time every weekend at the Warm Hub since it opened before Xmas to be available to the public to chat
Vivien is also a regular helper chatting to residents
Mary Laxton had previously supplied a selction of new toys that have proved popular and topped up supplies again today and enjoyed a cheeky donut with her coffee. 😂
The large bear named "Rosie"found a new home this morning ☺
