More details will be shared in due course but this is worth knowing now so you’re prepared for your 2025 travels!

Eu officials have confirmed that Britons travelling to Europe next Summer will need to apply for a visa waiver. This will be called the European Travel Information and Authorisation System (ETIAS)

The visa waiver will cost €7 for people aged 18-70. There will be no charge for children and those over 70.

It will last for three years, or until the holder’s passport expires, whichever comes first.

Passengers will apply online or via a mobile app and most applications will be approved within minutes, although there may be more complex cases that will take longer.

As part of the application process, ‘full disclosure’ is required regarding an applicant’s background, including travel history and any criminal record.

May has been a busy month. I have customers booked to go to Egypt, Amsterdam, Jersey, Salou, Nordic train adventure and a Disney Cruise so I thought it was about time I book myself a holiday. So me and Martyn are off to Ibiza in 10 days time cannot wait.

Any recommendations for "must see or do" most welcome. We have a car so will be exploring the Island

UK passports can have up to 10 years and nine months on them but EU countries won't accept them.
