We just wanted to reassure any of you who may have seen in the press about Square Chapel, and who may have tickets for the Anne Lister Society conference in April: we have a plan B, so the event will still go ahead as planned.

I'm so delighted to be sharing the stage again with the Yorkshire Harpist, Fiona Katie Widdop, along with The Greyhounds for a candlelit concert at Halifax Minster on Friday April 4th.

I will be sharing more music from the Anne Lister collection along with tales of her teenage years, whilst Fiona Katie will be taking us on a magical trip to Wales to hear the music Anne would have heard on her trip to Llangollen. The Greyhounds will be recreating their work Opal's Comet, a song cycle which explores the seasons of grief....originally performed from the deck of a narrow boat journeying along the canals of Calderdale.

**ANNE LISTER FESTIVAL 2025** PROGRAM(ME) LAUNCH DAY HAS ARRIVED!!!
Yes, that’s right: today is the day that the Program(me) for the 2025 Anne Lister Festival - all 70+ events - none of which are yet out in the public domain..! - will be revealed!

The Programme goes Live, on the *Anne Lister of Halifax* website (www.annelisterofhalifax.co.uk), at *1800hrsGMT* - and this time is to ensure that there isn’t a clash with the ALBW Live which is taking place at 5pmGMT.
The ALBW Live can be found here: https://www.facebook.com/share/p/15jrDM7XgD/?mibextid=wwXIfr - and Calderdale’s Anne Lister Programme Co-ordinator (ie the Festival organiser) will be talking about the Festival program(me) then so be sure to join that Live!
