So our turkey Mum has finally revealed her babies after what seemed an age, in all kinds of Scottish weather, sitting on 14 eggs. Welcome to the farm 12 healthy looking turkey chicks. This is going to be fun if they all make it from here on. 🐣🦃🦃🦃🦃🦃

So spring has arrived at Achmeney in Harpsdale. Our Buff Orpington hens have hatched at least one chick. There may be more but both hens have been sitting on the same clutch of eggs so it's difficult to see if there are anymore hiding under this one's sister, let's hope so. We will keep you informed. 🐣🐣🐣❤️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

We welcomed a trio of Buff Orpington Chickens into to our fold a few weeks ago, Stewie, Iona and Fiona. We are now looking forward to welcoming a few more into the fold in the next few weeks as both the females have gone broody and are sittingon a clutch of eggs each. Stewie is being a very attentive expectant father as can be seen from these pics. 🐣🐣🐣
