This is #corneliusthebull, who has to be kept apart from the young heifers for another year (there is a risk he would get them pregnant when they are far too small). He is with two steers or bullocks (castrated males) for company, and a cow who we would like him to get pregnant!!!
Mum knows them all very well and usually says hello to each of them at least once a day. This helps to stop them becoming too ‘wild’ so when we need to handle them for any reason they are relatively calm. They are a bit more wary of us but we try to have contact with them as well so they are at least a bit used to us
