We drive passed Thirlemere Reservoir on regular basis and never stop. I did today and had a wonder. The dam at the end of the reservoir's first stone was laid in 1890. Amazing really!! Views were also stunning. We worth a look.

We are giving Ferndale a bit of a new look with a shinny new roof. Weather didn't play ball, but we finally got a window to get the work done.
We are really pleased with the work complete by local builder Mike Fell.

Moot Hall has a lovely Himalayan display. Pray flags and hand made clothing make a colourful and vibrarent scene. Worth having a look. 🏔🏞⛰️

Water levels in Derwent Water really high today but didn't stop us making it to Lodore Falls Hotel for a cheeky pint.
Open top bus back was super fun!!
