Our Granddaughter Eilah, had only just met "Ted" but Eilah is used to dogs and is completely at ease as they make friends. While appreciating the view from Sancerre's flybridge.. (under a watchful eye of course..).

Today we were asked what the availability at The Hut might be for a group of 8 or 9 for a weekday lunch, and a trip there on board "Allegro"
We had a look and there is actually plenty of availability on Weekdays. That's as opposed to weekends where it seems to be dinner availability only currently.
We're quite happy to operate on weekends and evenings for guests that have booked themselves already, but how about a weekday special treat?

Here is a long list of dates we found, that we thought we'd share. All these dates, for groups of 8 or 9 are available, currently... On the main deck at The Hut .

USS Gerald R Ford at Anchor after her maiden transatlantic voyage. At Stokes Bay, Portsmouth UK Thursday 17th November at 16:00. She dwarfs the "Dutch Emerald" tanker alongside. A last look before she sets sail tomorrow. Great to see you "fair winds".

Last call for pre-booked tickets for the river trips on Allegro in aid of Hamble lifeboat. Limited seats still available. First trip starting at 10:00 and then on the hour till 17:00
Saturday 3rd September Hamble Foreshore.
Hamble lifeboat open day and Hamble food market. Go to the lifeboat station for info.

Cowes Chain Ferry No.6
On Thursday 17th March 2022 the Chain Ferry will be moved from the West slipway and towed to Falmouth, Cornwall. For her 5 year inspection.
Here she is today, high and dry at Cowes.

“Hamble Powerboat Charters today delivered Tom Montgomery-Swan’s PBR Axopar 28 from Offshore Powerboats to Swanwick. This is an expedition craft sponsored by Land Rover, SIMRAD & Mercury Marine and is now back from Southampton Boat Show and in our care for the week”
We really enjoyed the trip round, what a great boat!

"Off The Rails",what a lovely place! Just a few minutes walk from Yarmouth town, Isle of Wight. First time for us in this former train station turned restaurant. It's full of original features and quirky touches with a great menu.

Last night on route to The Hut with two boats and guests aboard and skippered by Paul Butler. We had another impromptu practice session with the HM Coastguard Helicopter G-MCGS, RNAS Lee on Solent (EGHF). This time they expertly landed a crew member on the 58ft Azimut. That's two boats that have had this privilege this summer while out on charter.

Out on Allegro on 30th April we had an impromptu practice session with the HM Coastguard Helicopter G-MCGS, RNAS Lee on Solent (EGHF), UK Off the Needles.
It's great to know they are there if needed for a genuine emergency and can of course, land a paramedic on Allegro, at 25 knots with such skill and precision.
We felt it was a privilege to take part in an exercise like this and we decided not to post it immediately publicly.
But here it is now to enjoy and we'll post some more video of the helicoper return and pick up soon.
