Koishikawa Korakuen Garden is the oldest surviving garden from the Edo period and was built in 1629 by Tokugawa Yorifusa. The garden features a large pond in the middle as well as hills that represent mountains.
A traditional red wooden bridge is also found in one of the corners of this traditional garden. In autumn, you can enjoy beautiful Japanese maple trees, which turn red around the end of November to early December.
