Cae Besi is a Grade II listed house built in the 1920’s for Alvin Langdon Coburn the father of modern photography. Situated in the Snowdonia National Park, it has two self-contained spacious apartments both with separate entrances. The 4 star accommodation stands in terraced gardens with a barbecue area and garden furniture, with both apartments affording spectacular sea views of Tremadog Bay and the Llyn Peninsular beyond. Each apartment consists of a double and twin bedroom with bath and separate shower. A fitted kitchen with a fridge, microwave and washing machine. The lounge and dinning rooms have a TV with DVD player plus free WIFI. All linen is provided , however towels are available at a small cost. Upon request a cot and highchair are also available.
On the outskirts of Harlech with its world heritage castle, Cae Besi is within 10 minutes walk of shops, cafe’s & restaurants. Below the house are miles of sandy beaches and a links golf course. An indoor swimming pool and climbing wall are also a short walk away.
Steam enthusiasts will glory in the Ffestiniog and Taly Llyn railways. The Italian ornate village of Portmerion is 10 miles away and the countryside is a walkers paradise.
