There is still availability for Easter, in one of our beautiful, dog friendly shepherds huts. Located in the Waveney Valley in beautiful South Norfolk, they make the perfect base to just sit and relax whilst listening to the birds and the sheep, or venture out to explore the local lanes and footpaths. Both huts have everything you need for that romantic break, including gas barbecues and our new fire pits.

What a sunset!
Friends Farm shepherds huts are a great place to stay with your furry friends. They can now stay for just £10 per dog, per stay. There is a great space for them to run around in, quiet lanes and footpaths from the doorstep, great beaches just half an hour away and dog friendly pubs nearby.
Both huts have everything you need for a relaxing stay in the country.

This week we visited and then explored the Deben Peninsula, visiting Bawdsey, Hollseley Bay and the amazing Shingle Street with it's acres and acres of shingle beach.
Just over an hour away, but well worth the journey, especially if you go via Rendlesham Forest to possibly see a huge herd of wild deer as we did.

Spring is definitely here. At Friends Farm we have two beautiful dog friendly shepherds huts. Located in the Waveney Valley in beautiful South Norfolk. Set within a small fenced paddock to keep your four legged friend safe. Both huts have everything you need for a relaxing break in the country, including great little woodburners to keep you warm and cosy.
They are as green as they can be( and not just the colour), electricity supplied from our solar panels, logs from the farm and a waste treatment plant. The water is from the mains, which means you can have a decent shower.
When you arrive, there will be sausages, eggs and bacon in the fridge for your first breakfast.
You can cook outside if you prefer, using the covered barbecue area. What better than cooking breakfast outside in the early morning sunshine (not guaranteed).
There are miles of footpaths and quiet country lanes to explore, right from the doorstep.

One hut available for Valentines weekend. Why not throw in a trip to wonderful Southwold ( 40 minutes away )for a stroll along the beach with your dogs, followed by fish and chips, or pop down to for a pint, open 12 - 7 Friday and Saturday.

Today was a typical February day. Starting with a sharp frost and ending with a beautiful sunset. Whatever the weather you are assured of a comfortable stay in one of our shepherds huts. Both huts have woodburners with free firewood for your entire stay, comfortable double beds, fully fitted kitchen, ensuite shower and toilet and are also dog friendly. Open throughout the year they are situated in beautiful South Norfolk, so are the perfect base to explore both Norfolk and Suffolk.
