Goodness gracious, what are you doing?!

Welcome to our Free Walking Tour of Harrogate!

Now, confession time. I’m not actually from Yorkshire and have only lived in Harrogate for a two years! My background is in hospitality having looked after guests in both restaurants and hotels for my entire life

However, I wanted to do something that got me out and about, meeting people. Harrogate’s rich history and stunning architecture made me want to find out more about this beautiful town. After a few months of rummaging through dusty old books, I thought that other others might be interested in what I had found out. So with a little showmanship and having found a stick and ordered a sign I am delighted to host our Walking Tour of Harrogate.

Hopefully after spending an hour and a bit wandering through the winding streets, stunning gardens and learning some rather interesting facts and stories including how Bettys famous Tearooms are only here today because of a tipsy Swiss gentleman getting on the wrong train. I am hoping you will have a fun afternoon and walk away with some idea of why everyone loves this quaint little Yorkshire town as much as I do.
