Glamping availability update. We have no weekends left now until April in the Shepherds Huts until we open our new hut Wensleydale, keep an eye out for updates over the next few weeks. Don't miss out on your glamping break in our fantastic huts - weekends certainly need booking ahead. Mid week availability in February is also limited! Great value glamping with the best views in our area. We have really enjoyed hosting you all over the last few years in our huts, thank you. 🥰

A view down into Nidderdale from Greenhow hill. A snowy wonderland. Can’t knock school, open since Wednesday (when even schools in the main towns have been shut), and it’s down there somewhere amongst the snow. Great effort from the teachers and support staff. ⛄️ ❄️

Still Narnia land here in wintery West End. Have to keep telling myself how much I love them, in this weather after falling on my butt for the 10th time today being meals on legs 😂 the desert horse is not happy at the moment. Chin up horse people, it’ll be back to mud and floods next week 😬

Another day in narnia here today. Pretty, but slow going in the snow. Everything seems to take forever. Even the quad got stuck it was so deep! Sheeps doing well though, that’s the main thing. ⛄️ ❄️

Standard snow day. Many vehicles rescued, including a police car... Unpaid, making sure people are safe in the extreme weather despite the roads actually being closed into the area. Please don't make journeys in these conditions if you don't have to, especially around areas like West End, which is 1000ft above sea level. Stick to the main roads if you need to travel. You might just end up relying on a farmer to rescue you.

🤔 farm shop leek vs supermarket leek. Same price. One significantly better than the other, looks healthier too. Looking forward to robertshaws_farm_shop coming to skipton soon. Look at the display of beautiful veg in their shop 🥰.

Can't go through the festive period without going to our fabulous local panto Harrogate Theatre Really well worth a watch. Back to Beauty and the Beast which was the first we ever took Faye to! A lovely local theatre, so pleased to see it packed out tonight.

Could’ve easily got 2025 off to a rubbish start. Once again another landslide on the A59 and utter chaos around the area again... However, went outside sat in the garden and took in the night sky. Absolutely stunning 🤩 Sometimes one has to just take a step back and reassess. Happy New Year.
