Guided Rides🚲 are coming to Hartlepool!

Hartlepool Active Travel Hub and Sustrans are putting on weekly guided rides for FREE to beginners. Even if you don't have a bike, you can get involved by getting in touch first to lend a bike. Each ride is approximately 5 miles in total.

Sustrans weekly Dr Bike & Active Travel drop-in centre is back on, starting this Wednesday but they will be back next week to give your bikes some well deserved tlc.🚴‍♂️👩‍⚕️

A huge thank you to the Enterprise Holdings Foundation, who have graciously donated £2.5k to Hartlepower in conjunction with CLIP, to establish a new accessible transport scheme for everyone with a disability or impairment in Hartlepool! 🚙👨‍🦽🚶‍♀️

Below is an example of the type of vehicle we hope to provide the community, a 5 seater vehicle with wheelchair accessible features to ensure everyone can be catered to.

Hartlepool Active Travel Hub are looking for donated bikes🚲 to recycle♻, refurbish🛠️ and give back to the community 🫂 !

They work with groups and individuals to make cycling easier and accessible to all, through this they recycle old bikes, expert mechanics renovate them to full working order and then they distribute them back out into the community. Bikes of any serviceable condition and parts are always welcome.

We’ve just received the news from Ginger Scooters that they will be offering totally free scooter rides in as part of their festive celebration in December!

Starting today until 17th December, every ride on a weekday from 7am to 3pm will be free for the first 20 minutes

After the first 20 minutes, normal pricing will resume at £2 for 20 minutes. Normal pricing after 3pm.

No need to apply any codes or refer a friend or purchase credit. The change will be made automatically every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday!

This offer is available between 7am up until 3pm on weekdays only. There is no limit on the number of rides you can take on any given day.

There are 27 Ginger E-scooter parking bays added across the town. Is there one near you?
