Located in the conservation area of Old Harwich, on the North Essex Coast the property is ideally located for all types of breaks, from romantic getaways to walking and cycling. Harwich has a wealth of restaurants and public houses on its doorstep to suit everyone. Just yards from the promenade, beach and local parks, there are views over both the Rivers Stour and Orwell from the Ha’penny Pier on the quay. For those who wish to travel further afield to Clacton, Walton-on-Naze, St Osyth, Dedham, Colchester and Ipswich there is a train station and bus stop just around the corner! All are just a short car ride away, you could even take the foot ferry over to Shotley and Felixstowe or even the main ferry to Holland!

The Harwich Kindertansport Memorial ‘Safe Haven’ has been unveiled on Harwich Quay.

It commemorates the organised effort to rescue thousands of Jewish children from N**i controlled territory in the months leading up to the Second World War.

The Kinder travelled across Europe seeking refuge in various countries. The UK took in nearly 10,000 children most of which entered the UK via Harwich.
