Good news!!
The main road through Westfield is open again. There is a traffic light system currently operating but it is now possible to access us through the village. This makes life a lot easier again 😊

Travel update: we've just heard that the main road through Westfield village will be closed until Thursday 15th August. If you do have a reservation with us over the coming week please allow extra time for your journey. Access to the restaurant is possible via A21.

Please be aware that the main road through Westfield village is currently closed due to emergency gas works. Access to the Wild Mushroom Restaurant is possible via the A21. Please allow extra time to complete your journey. This closure is scheduled to finish on 9th August. If we hear any different we will let you know asap.

Love was in the air today at the Wild Mushroom as we hosted a wedding breakfast for an amazing couple, Chris & Rachel.

They arrived in style in a fabulous blue VW camper van and enjoyed an ice-cold mojito in the garden with their guests. There were smiles all round for the very beautiful bride and her handsome groom.

Congratulations from all of the Mushroom staff ❤❤

We're back!
We've had a little break and enjoyed soaking up some sunshine on foreign shores.
Refreshed and raring to go, we've landed in the middle of July, party and wedding season! We do have availability for some lunches and dinners over the next few weeks so it's definitely worth checking either through our online reservation system or by calling us on 01424 751137.

The Wild Mushroom will be closed, from 1st July, for our annual staff summer holidays. We're sorry if you'd planned to visit us but we will be back refreshed and rejuvenated (and maybe a little bit tanned) on the 10th July.
Reservations can still be made through our website .co.uk
Our other restaurants, Webbe's at the Fish Cafe and Webbe's Rock-a-Nore will remain open.

It's one of our favs as it's all about the local catch from our RX fishing fleet. We take what the local fishermen catch and create a 7-course fine dining meal which we expertly pair with 5 matched wines.

We've all had a lovely break and are feeling ready and refreshed for the year ahead. We're re-opening on 18th January and are looking forward to seeing you all over the coming months.

Summer has returned!
Our garden at the Wild Mushroom has sprung back into life, the red hot pokers and thistles are vibrant and beautiful in the warm sun.

A perfect complement to this sunny backdrop is a light garden spritz made from sparkling wine and blended with a liqueur made from orange peel and spices. It is ideal as a pre-lunch or dinner aperitif or even as an accompaniment to your meal.
