Beauport is a beautiful park, it is also a residential site. Set within acres of tranquil woodland on the outskirts of Hastings. Its excellent location means it is far enough away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life to relax, but close enough to make a great base to explore East Sussex. Park facilities include a modern country club which serves food and drinks, (please note there are some occasions through the year when the park has events in the clubhouse that are for home owners only and these are paid events, this means you would not be able to access the club house that evening). A seasonal outdoor heated swimming pool with lifeguard (there is a charge of £1 per person per day, passes are purchased from reception). A children's play area, good stocked shop and launderette. On site you can Sit on the decking overlooking the lake, even take a picnic, the lake is 1 min walk from Acorn 1, or explore miles of nature trails and footpaths lined with wildflowers and berries, taking in the 1066 heritage countryside. The nature setting means that a lot of wildlife finds its home here and the park is often visited by animal neighbours such as deer and badgers. There are 2 golf courses nearby, as well as a riding stable taking advantage of the terrific scenery and unspoilt nature. There are many attractions nearby, from historic buildings to target shooting as well as many local beaches to visit, the closest is Hastings but there is also Camber Sands, Winchelsea and Eastbourne all within an hour’s drive. A 10-minute drive away, Hastings is a vibrant town where modern amenities meet history. You can explore the medieval Old Town with its quirky independent shops, bars and restaurants, or enjoy traditional seaside fun at the popular beach with its long promenade, amusements, aquarium and crazy golf. A historic Cinque Port, you can explore the ancient caves used by pirates and smugglers or take a trip to Hastings Castle. For an even deeper dive into history, 6 minutes drive away from Beauport is the town of Battle, built around the famous Battle Abbey and battlefield where King Harold fought William the Conqueror in 1066. The ruins and visitors centre provides a fun day out for all the family. The park is also situated a 10-minute drive from the train station in St Leonards, a unique neighbourhood of independent businesses. 24 minutes drive away is Rye, a beautiful old town with its castle, art galleries, quirky shops and quaint cobbled streets.
