SEAL PUPS 🦭🎉 As we’ve mentioned it is seal pup season around the Pembrokeshire Coast! We are lucky to have one of the largest seal pup colony’s in Southern Britain on Ramsey Island, with 894 pups being born on the island last year! 🩶 Whilst this is very exciting, it’s very important that we keep our distance from pups, as it is a very sensitive time for them and their mothers. We ask that you… ⭐️ Keep your distance & don’t touch: Although the pup may look abandoned, mum is nearby! If she feels threatened or that her pup is in trouble, she may become aggressive!⭐️ Don’t put it back in the water: A pup that is still nursing is a poor swimmer!
