Take a dip in our bubbly hot cauldron, watch for bats from our shepherd’s hut salt cabin and enjoy a selection of lotions and potions from the ‘Trick or Treat’ basket.
Spooky Spa includes:

• 90 minutes’ use of our spooky spa facilities*
• A spooky sharing platter, including a selection of savoury and sweet treats.
• Trick or treat lucky dip
• Towel, robe and flip flops.

You can also add a 20-minute treatment for just £20, available to both adults and children.

Choose from:

• ‘Frightfully Fresh’ – a hydrating, softening, and brightening facial
• ‘Skeleton Signature’ – back, neck and shoulder massage (over 16’s only)
•’ Witch’s Brew’ – foot soak, scrub and massage
• ‘Wicked Welly Warmer’ – lower leg and foot massage.

Places for Spooky Spa are limited so book early to avoid disappointment.

As promised here is a bit more information about the Wild Spa -opening this Summer.

Located on the same site as Scolton Country Spa The Wild Spa will be available to book for one-hour open sessions, or two-hour, half or full days for private group bookings.

The Wild Spa

Guests visiting the Wild Spa can enjoy a self-guided spa experience which flows thought a series of hot and cold therapies based on the four elements of nature: Air, Earth, Fire and Water – we call this experience ‘The Elements Trail.’


As well as 1-hour open sessions the Wild Spa can also be booked for private sessions of 2- hours, 4- hours or full days.

The Elements Trail

How it works………

Air
The open-air spa experience occupies a perfect spot overlooking the woodland, meadows and mountains and begins with a warm outdoor shower to gently warm and cleanse the body.

Earth
This is followed by sauna whisking. Sauna whisking is a process which involves tapping and brushing the body with whisk made from leafy birch branch tips which increases circulation and enrich the skin with therapeutic oils and vitamins.

We use traditional Finnish birch whisks which contain powerful antioxidants such as vitamin C and provitamin A, as well as saponins and tannins known for their skin-softening, nourishing and antimicrobial properties.

Fire
Next comes Fire. Step inside our cedar barrel sauna perfectly positioned to capture magnificent mountain views and spectacular sunsets to the west.

Water
And when you can’t take the heat, any longer is time to cool down – in the ice-cold bucket showers! The temperature shock boosts circulation, releases endorphins, and tightens the skin. So be sure to repeat those benefits in your head as you reach for the cord!

Staying with Water it’s back to warmth and time to take a dip in the outdoor cedar barrel hot tub. A contrasting water experience to the ice buckets this one is much easier.
Take time to bathe in the warm waters and appreciate the sounds and scents of nature that surround you.

End at the fireside
The trail ends at the fireside. Gather around the heat of the fire pit and dip your feet into a steamy copper foot bath while enjoying hot herbal tea.

Add wild seaweed bathing….
And those with a little more time to spare can extend their experience by adding wild seaweed bathing in the Wild Spas outdoor tin tubs. A truly invigorating and therapeutic bathing experience.
