A collective art exhibition by individuals with learning disabilities and their carers who find solace in art as a testament to the transformative power of creativity. Each brush stroke and every sculpted form is a captured moment in art that carries an emotional importance which contributes to a larger mosaic of well-being and understanding one piece at a time.

🎨The Murmuration of Words by Bean Sawyer
Friday 25 October – Wednesday 18 December
The Murmuration of Words is a postal poetry project started by artist and writer, Bean Sawyer in January 2023. The collaborative poems are written by many voices travelling many miles. The exhibition will feature a selection of poems, along with cyanotype poetry maps sewn with each individual flight path, and cyanotype prints featuring words from the poem. Bean has also made a series of poetry videos to accompany the exhibition and there will be an opportunity for visitors to contribute towards a special exhibition murmuration poem.

Exciting things are coming soon to our Museum Wales Gallery with the anticipated arrival of Courage & Community: RNLI 200 Cymru exhibition. Preparations are well underway as a canvas jib sail from the Charterhouse lifeboat is safely hung (on loan from West Wales Maritime Museum) and graphic panels start to be placed. Look out for more glimpses, as set up continues throughout the week. 🛟 Courage & Community starts 29 June to celebrate 200 years of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution. Be inspired by the stories of ordinary people doing extraordinary things, with games and activities for the whole family. #RNLI200Cymru #AmgueddfaCymru

Oriel y Parc Landscape Gallery and Visitor Centre is managed by the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority in partnership with Amgueddfa Cymru – National Museum Wales, who manage the Class A gallery. The ever changing exhibitions reflect the Pembrokeshire landscape and how it has influenced world renowned artists such as Graham Sutherland. Guided walks, talks and a host of other activities are available at Oriel y Parc every week, such as bat walks, food foraging, and other activities for all the family.
