Porthselau and Porthmawr have been writing letters to Father Christmas in class. They went for a walk to Oriel Y Parc to post their letters in the special post box, and whilst they were there, they visited the current art exhibition and the RNLI exhibition. Then they sang some Christmas songs to the lovely staff. They thoroughly enjoyed their visit and are all hoping to take their grown ups there again at the weekend to collect replies to their letters. A magical delivery appears each winter to collect your messages to Santa. Write your festive wishes in a letter and drop it into the special post box. Be sure to remember to visit again, after three days, to pick up Santa’s reply and a surprise from the elves’ workshop.

Exciting things are coming soon to our Museum Wales Gallery with the anticipated arrival of Courage & Community: RNLI 200 Cymru exhibition. Preparations are well underway as a canvas jib sail from the Charterhouse lifeboat is safely hung (on loan from West Wales Maritime Museum) and graphic panels start to be placed. Look out for more glimpses, as set up continues throughout the week. 🛟 Courage & Community starts 29 June to celebrate 200 years of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution. Our Story

Oriel y Parc Landscape Gallery and Visitor Centre is managed by the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority in partnership with Amgueddfa Cymru – National Museum Wales, who manage the Class A gallery. The ever changing exhibitions reflect the Pembrokeshire landscape and how it has influenced world renowned artists such as Graham Sutherland. Guided walks, talks and a host of other activities are available at Oriel y Parc every week, such as bat walks, food foraging, and other activities for all the family.
