The Tree House, as its name implies, is built amongst the treetops. A gnarled apple tree branch burrows its way into the external steps and hawthorn flanks the south side. Set behind the owner's house in her own grounds, steep wooden steps lead into this unique property. The light and tranquil lounge has French doors opening onto a decked sitting area, with hammock, perfect for bird watching. Simp
le, yet comfortable furnishings compliment the exposed wooden floor boards and calming but cosy atmosphere - in fact this was the studio of acclaimed artist Peter Daniels. A very short walk through a wooded valley owned by the National Trust, which is a Site of Special Scientific Interest and a Special Area of Conservation, following a pretty stream with a pond, leads to a quiet and sheltered cove, perfect for swimming, coasteering or fishing. Located between Solva and Caerfai beach this is a perfect setting for that simple retreat with or without children! The Tree House simply exudes relaxation and enjoyment. With outstanding coastal scenery on its doorstep, there is nothing nicer than just stepping outside and walking to the cove for a swim and explore, or a longer walk along the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path.
