Serenity lake is not the easiest nor is it prolific, but when it does give up its residents they are worth the wait! Paul had two this weekend, 17 and 32lb 9oz. This means 3 of the last four fish out have been over 30!! Pretty good odds of a thirty. Get booked on!

George is smashing it this weekend with his second 30! Two fish for a 35lb average is not bad! Plenty of midweek availability if anyone fancies a go!

NEW LAKE RECORD!!! The big girl has been out today at 39lb 10 ounces! I was wondering which fish will be forty first, another couple of weeks and I reckon she will be! Well done to George for his new pb!

Wendy has started her visit to Serenity with a cracking 37lb 4oz mirror, a new female lake record! Caught on an Avon Quiver and method feeder it shows match tactics work for big fish as well!

Another double thirty day! 33 and 32lb, the mirror is a new thirty, I caught it last June on a waggler at 27lb 8oz so great to see it packing on the weight. That’s 8 different thirties out so far this year and well over 1 in 5 fish (closer to 1 in 4) has been over 30lb!

New lake record common out! 36.4! This one is packing on the weight and is part of a three fish haul in his first 24hrs here for an average of 30lb! Some awesome fish in serenity which is just getting better and better! Fingers crossed for a 40 this year! This fish has averaged 5-6lb/year growth since stocking

Serenity lakes can never be called a ‘runs’ water but when it does produce then the results are awesome! Guests Harry and Steph have smashed it today with not one but two thirties (30 and 32) In fact, four of the last 7 fish caught have been over thirty pounds!

NEW LAKE RECORD ALERT!!! Richard had a great start to his weekend with a lovely 25lb linear followed by the big girl at 38lb 2oz!! Smashed the previous record by over 6lb!! How long till we have a 40??!

We netted the lake this morning to remove small home grown fish and give the big girls more space to grow, and growing they have been! I em extremely confident of our first forty pound carp this year, and with the small fish gone our average fish will now be closer to thirty than twenty pounds. In fact the biggest fish was 6lb over our current lake record, and a further six fish we weighed this morning beat the record!

New thirty alert! 31.4, I will check my records but may well be a first capture. I also winked out a 27 common in the blazing sun. I love seeing 30’s come out, will never tire of it!

We have a last minute cancellation for hut two this weekend (Friday to Sunday or Monday) if anyone is unsure what to do this long bank holiday weekend!

I chucked some rods out today whilst getting the huts ready for todays guests and had this beautiful 29lb 12 oz carp, it will be a new thirty in a month I reckon!
