🚂 Steam and diesel trains will run on a special schedule from Thursday, 26 December 2024, to Thursday, 2 January 2025.

Embark on a seven-mile journey aboard a narrow-gauge heritage railway that meanders through the picturesque landscapes of the Western Lake District. This route connects Ravenglass (the only coastal village in UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Lake District National Park) to Dalegarth, which lies within sight of England’s highest mountains.

⭐ As part of the festive celebrations, everyone who boards with a full-line return ticket during this period will receive a complimentary mince pie (subject to availability).

⭐ Visitors will be able to see the engines adorned in their festive attire and the stations will be decorated for Christmas.

⭐ The cafés, gift shops, and the free-to-enter Ravenglass Railway Museum will be open while the 'Winter Warmer' trains are running.

⭐ The Ratty Arms pub in Ravenglass invites you to stop by (please check the website for opening hours).
