It always feels strange at the Market House at this time of year. The end of another diary, but the start of a fresh new one. The quiet of an empty hall, with all the Christmas markets over and the last sessions for our groups, but the promise of new events in 2024.
Our last event of the year is the Hawes Silver Band charity carol concert on Sunday. Come along, have a mince pie and mulled wine. Enjoy some lovely Christmas music and begin your Christmas.
Great weekend with friends at Miss Burrow’s before the snow. Loved the 2hr circular walk around the beautiful scenery of Hawes. Also had a chance to stop off at Hardraw Force, England’s highest single drop waterfall and setting for Robin Hood’s first meeting with Maid Marian in Robin Hood Price of Thieves.
Miss Burrow’s House all set up for our Christmas guests and great to watch the Hawes Christmas lights switch on.
