Easter holidays are here! If you're going to be in the National Park over the next few days, have a great time exploring and making memories. Also:

🐣 look out for groundnesting birds, dogs on leads please
🚮 take your litter home and leave no trace

Plenty of media hype about next weeks 'mini ice age!' We're expecting a cooling off from Sunday (6 degrees daytime 0 degrees night time, wind-chill around minus 4) with a light snow flurry later in the week. Just to give a balanced view 😉 BUT if it changes we'll let you know..

STAYING SAFE ON THE WATER

We have seen so many wonderful people enjoying Stand Up Paddleboarding over the past 3 years and it is so lovely when people continue with this amazing watersport.

It is so important to stay safe. I am writing this after the sad events in Wales at the weekend.

We all fall off. Well, I try not to! But we need to make sure we are in safe environments.
If you are unsure of where you are going, check with someone who knows.
Don't SUP the rivers alone
Where a waist leash instead of an ankle one in the river
Practise self rescue
Have some lessons to boost your skills & confidence
Check the water levels and let people know where you are going
