We had a rather special Christmas surprise at the weekend... two little lambs were born completely out of the blue! What a pair of Christmas cuties 😍.

🎃We are super excited to announce that for the first time ever we will be running a Pick your own Pumpkin Patch at Stouslie Farm! 🎃

Earlier this year we decided to diversify our farm a little further and try our hand at planting a few thousand pumpkins so we could run a Pumpkin patch event in October 2024.

I mean, how hard could it be? Turns out… VERY hard indeed!

Let’s just say, this journey has been a bit of a rollercoaster ride with poor germination rates, major slug damage (they wiped out about 30% of our plants) and the worst pumpkin growing weather possible. I can say, though, with certainty that we have learnt a lot.

Here we are 6 months down the line and we have managed to grow loads of pumpkins. Way more than I thought we would but probably not enough for a patch. So, it was decision time… do we keep going or try again next year? Well, with a little help from some fellow farmers down south we now have enough pumpkins to run our first ever Pumpkin patch!

Expect a wholesome, authentic and rustic pumpkin picking day out on the farm. Get the wellies on and the waterproofs and join us for some autumnal family fun including straw bale mountain, marshmallow toasting, suction cup archery, pumpkin trail, beat the ghoulie (…goalie), lots of photo opportunities, food, drink and so much more….

We will also be selling our very own produce for the first time in the pop-up farm shop! Fill up your fridge with some succulent pedigree Shorthorn beef, slow grown Scottish lamb or native bred forest raised pork.

We would love your support and to welcome you onto the patch this October! Oh... and did I mention that Glampers can visit the patch for free?!

We are always looking to improve the Snugs, offer more facilities for our guests and keep everything in top condition at the site so when a guest takes the time to acknowledge our efforts it never fails to put a big smile on our face 😁.

What a weekend it has been here at the Snugs... the weather has been absolutely glorious ☀️ and mother nature in all her beauty put on a spectacular display with the Auroa Borellis making an appearance!

I hope our guests had the best time enjoying the wood fired hot tubs watching a kaleidoscope of colour dance across the sky.

I still can't believe I've finally seen the Northern lights! Absolute bucket list moment 🌌 😊

⭐Mini Lambing Experience ⭐

I’ve been a bit quiet on the auld social media channels lately but all for good reason. We have been very busy in the background working hard on an exciting new offering this Easter.

Opening on the 1st April and throughout the rest of the month we will be running a ‘Mini Lambing Experience’ for all our Glamping guests! For only £20 per stay you can book a private Mini lambing session where we will walk along to the farm, up to the newly built ‘Pet Lamb Penthouse’ and…

• Meet all the pet lambs 🐑
• Get hands on mixing up the lamb milk
• Bottle feed the pet lambs
• Learn more about our family farm
• Have lots of lamb cuddles 🥰
• Plenty of photo opportunities

We have had an amazing bunch of guests staying with us over Valentine's 💕. A romantic and relaxing stay was had by all but don't just take our word for it...

Our guests at the weekend left the most amazing review in the guest book complete with mini photos sharing their experience! A cosy Snug, wood fired hot tub under the starry night sky, delicious locally sourced breakfast/bbq box and a fab day out trekking with Alpacas all making for a perfect weekend getaway 🦙!

We would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year when the time comes! Also, a HUGE thank you to everyone who chose to stay with us again this year. It really does mean so much to us and it has been lovely getting to meet so many of you. Finally, thank you to all the amazing local businesses that have supported us throughout the year ❤️.

We are now closed until Friday 29th December. It's time to switch off and enjoy quality time with family, that being said, I will reply to all enquiries on my return.
