We had such an adorable little guest, Ruby, and her Mom and Dad staying last week………… apparently she really didn’t want to go home!!!! Her little legs took her up to Pen*stone Hill and was made a fuss of when they stopped for dinner at The Hawthorn Haworth.

We had some very lovely guests in celebrating something special last weekend……. I was just a little bit giddy giving them a few special surprises!! 🥂💕❤️…………. And we,re so happy for the wonderful feedback, plus they’ve left a voucher for a meal they won at a local pub quiz, for the next guests…………

We have had a wonderful stay thank you. We have absolutely loved it, the cottage was gorgeous. Howarth is somewhere we have wanted to visit for a long time and it lived up to expectations. We loved it. We certainly will leave a review. We have also left the voucher as we had booked all our restaurants before we left home, but thank you.
We also wanted to say thank you so much for the balloons, chocolates and card you left for us, that was so thoughtful. Thank you.

Our sweet courtyard garden is waiting for our next guests!! Enjoy relaxing with breakfast or an evening tipple underneath our gorgeous scented jasmine.
Earlier in the season you might be lucky enough to see birds nesting in one of the little bird houses……….. we were blessed with some this year for the first time!!

Our cute courtyard garden at Hectors Hideaway. We have a lovely seating area under the jasmine, which is now just starting to flower, on warm summer days the scent can be breathtaking. Enjoy a hearty outdoor breakfast before a day out walking, or just chill with a glass or 2 of your favourite wine.

We’ve also tried to make it insect and bee friendly with our choice of plants, and quite a large insect hotel.
