A recent job completed for a lovely returning customer.

We took up the front and side paving, re-laid the paving with grey Indian sandstone, added some drainage to stop storm water going in to the next door neighbours garage and added two new steps.

A new, sloping, red brick path for this client of ours, removing the need for steps and the danger of slipping with the new brick surface. We absolutely love it and so do they 👌🏼

Jobs we’ve completed include;
- Tiled window sill replacement
- new steps to front & side door
- new flower bed with sleeper edging and stepping stones leading up to the shed
- new patio area with light grey Indian paving with a feature pergola

A new re-enforced patio for this client of ours.

We used Indian sandstone, re-enforced base with mesh due to an unstable surface, finished with aco drainage.

A low maintenance/no mow front garden was on the request for this client.

We took up the turf and replaced it with a MOT base and 20mm shingle. Replaced the old tarmac front path in Indian sandstone slabs and added a new brick edge to the boundary. We also replaced the fencing with the neighbouring property.

The shingle is now the perfect base for some pot plants 🌾

No major structural changes for our latest customer, just a little refresh and extension of the existing patio.

We took up the old patio, made good to the ground, added some new drains to clear storm water, and laid new Indian sandstone.

Not all garden jobs are a huge overall, but we do love a challenge!

Here’s a recently completed job by MKM, the job was won by word of mouth and the new Client having seen our work at a friends house.

We re-built a large wall in between the neighbours garden that was falling down and needed urgent attention. Ripped up the old patio only to find the previous owners had buried a number of drains, drains correctly replaced within the new Indian sandstone patio.

The new patio was extended by moving the retaining wall back and squaring off the patio. Aco drainage added to assist with surface water drainage.

We recently completed a small patio transformation in Raj Indian sandstone 900x600mm. Our client was keen to retain a bit of grass, we also recycled some of their existing edging bricks to ensure the new blended well with some of the brickwork they were keen to retain.

This is our 5th job for this returning customer!

On this occasion, we’ve further extended the driveway we extended last year in A&G Country Cobbles. Added two retaining walls and additional Aco drainage.

Before and after pics of a recently completed 3 tier patio upgrade in Bolnore Village.

We ripped up the old patio, uncovered a buried manhole, replaced a retaining wall with modern sleepers, laid new Indian sandstone slabs and finished the edges with aco drainage.

Out with the old, in with the new!

Our client was keen to retain the existing shape and area of patio, so we dug up the old patio and replaced it with a new Light Grey Indian sandstone with 100mm light grey edgings.

Something slightly different from MKM…

We started with an uneven patio where the customer wanted to up cycle the existing uneven slabs, so we removed and cleaned the old slabs and bricks, slightly extended the existing patio with matching reclaimed bricks and added some Acco drains with a new recess cover.

In addition, we built a new small patio area for the customer using porcelain tiles.

We’ve been busy at MKM recently creating a maintenance path around a barn. Freshfield Lane brick’s used to create a retaining wall, drainage installed behind and finished with Raj Indian Sandstone for the pathway.

New block paved driveway completed by MKM, including new Acco Drainage.

This job was requested after we completed an extension to the neighbours block paved drive. Both driveways now complimenting each other.

We have now completed work on 4 houses in a row in this small close in Burgess Hill.

Complete patio referb for a regular customer of MKM’s using 3 ft x 2 ft light grey Indian paving slabs. Drainage alterations were required as part of this job alongside new steps, resulting in a beautiful, one level, new patio area.

Garden refurb in light grey Indian stone paving. Adjustments to the storm drainage was required on this job and an oak sleeper retaining wall was created, alongside a flower bed and new lawn.
