A lovely Halloween session in the woods today. We made pumpkin candles, decorated pizza wraps with edible pens and toasted chestnuts.

So many learning experiences at our fire workshop today. Do you know the benefits of children learning to light fires? Here are just a few:1. Fire safety. 2. A science lesson. 3. Promotes self- confidence and self- esteem. 4. Teaches them how to manage their own risks. 5. They learn respect. 6. Language and communication. 7. Resilience. 8. They learn a Survival skill. We still have some space on the whittling workshop on the 25th August. Limited spaces available.
