Happy Cows!
The cows who think they are sheep…
A peek over the wall…. 😍😍😍
The hills and valleys surrounding Hebden Bridge are beautiful. Hidden streams, endless green landscapes, and sumptuous walks. We feel very blessed. 😍 #natureisbeautiful #hebdenbridge #cottage #cottagestyle #cottagelife #cottagehome #landscapelovers #landscapeart #landscapelover #heptonstall #caldervalley #happyvalley #gallowspole #hardcastlecrags #hardcastlecraggs

The Lambs are coming
Spring is coming.... and it's a magical time to be at The Hideaway. We are surrounded by sheep and that means one thing in March and April. Lambs! Lots and lots of lambs.
There is something magical about hearing the valley reverberate with the sound of Ewes calling their lambs.
If you are paying us a visit in March/April you are in for a treat 🥰
“Where is The Hideaway?” is a question we are often asked. Well…. It’s here (in the middle of the row).. 😎
This very special landscape has magical qualities. Once experienced never forgotten.
We can’t wait to welcome you. 😍

Peeking down onto The Hideaway from the Pennine Way is always a special moment. And it’s not just special the first time, that moment is just as special the fiftieth time. Experiencing the vast swell of landscape is a whole body experience. In difficult and stressful times the hills wrap their arms around you, filling your being with that unique, fresh tonic of Yorkshireness.
And that is why we love this place so much….❤️
Drive with us through stunning landscapes with a fabulous pub at the end. The Packhorse Inn re-opened recently, and is now one of our firm favourites. 🥰 Great beer, great food, great views. What could be better. Our journey starts from The Hideaway.... (in real time it's just 6 minutes).
PS We still have a few days left in September if you fancy paying us a visit.... 🙏🔥

The garden at The Hideaway has popped into colour 😍 (including the large Foxglove interloper often found lining the lanes and fields at this time of year).
We believe in creating a relaxing holiday experience both inside and outside our little 18th century cottage! 🥰
Come and sit, smell the roses and sweet peas, and if they are ready even pick a beetroot for tea.
What else could you need for a peaceful and rejuvenating holiday?

An evening stroll down at Hardcastle Crags. Just 400 yards from The Hideaway!
Coco and Rocky love it! 😍

Peace, perfect peace (well, apart from the occasional sound of sheep chatter). Drinking in the view at the bottom of The HIdeaway’s garden is a so therapeutic ! 🙏❤️
🐥 CUTE ALERT! 🐥 One of the runner ducks next door had babies 😍. We are so lucky to be surrounded by wildlife and farm animals straight outside the back door.
Whether it’s the ducks going on a daily field trip or the sheep living their best lives, come and watch it all whilst having a cup of tea on the patio! 🤣
It’s the start of the annual Hebden Bridge duck race! (Watch with sound on for excited child noises 😍).
PS We had a cancellation in May. So if you fancy a break in this beautiful part of the world send us a message 😎
A flying Easter Sunday visit to Haworth ❤️
Rocky and Coco LOVE this place. Especially the stream! ❤️😍. We told them there were fairies in the tunnel but they didn’t seem too bothered 😂
Meet Coco and Rocky. They love staring. And sitting. And staring. 😍
Just wanted to share a little walk to the bottom of the garden, because it is such a glorious Spring evening 😍
. No commentary, just the early evening chorus across the valley. 🙏🙏🙏
