Baby Sensory North Huddersfield

Baby Sensory North Huddersfield A magical journey awaits you and your baby, from birth-13 months we offer different, weekly themed classes at our very own WOW Centre in Heckmondwike.

Our award winning classes offer babies a multi-sensory environment. Start your journey with us. Hi, I'm Brooke, mum of two girls, Florence & Willow. I first attended Baby Sensory when my youngest daughter turned 2 months old. I was originally given some vouchers for the classes by a friend who had also attended and instantly fell in love. I have attended so many baby classes not just with my young

est, but with my eldest daughter, Florence but nothing comes close to Baby Sensory and the benefits we both felt through the classes. Baby Sensory provides a perfect opportunity to intimately bond with your child, exploring the science behind their developments and how to continue this at home. It also highlights the best way for your child to learn, combining free-play with a structured class. In addition, it also enables Mum’s to socialise, watching their children grow together through shared experience. When the opportunity presented itself for me to make the move from my successful career in Sales Management, I jumped at the chance for a better quality of life, to spend more time with my girls and also pursue a dream.....to work with children. I bought the Baby Sensory franchise in 2015 and every day I look forward to delivering amazing and unique classes, working with both babies and parents.

Today has become known as Blue Monday, a day to acknowledge and address feelings of sadness and depression.

Most mothers have days when they feel really down. This is perfectly normal. Looking after a baby, being constantly on call and coping with the daily demands of life is not easy. However, some mothers feel low, anxious, depressed and miserable most of the time. Others are so utterly exhausted that they feel physically ill. These mothers may be suffering from postnatal depression, a debilitating illness that can spoil the experience of motherhood, interfere with the development of the mother-baby bond and put an immense strain on adult relationships.

What are the Symptoms?

Fatigue
Sleep disturbances
Feelings of worthlessness or hopelessness
Anxiety
Despair
Irritability
Reduced libido
Guilt
Appetite changes
Panic attacks
Social withdrawal
Delayed attachment
Harming the baby
Thoughts of su***de

Postnatal depression can occur anytime in the first year after the birth. It is a serious condition that can result in a great deal of suffering. The first thing is to recognise the symptoms and then get help and support from friends and family members, your midwife, Health Visitor or GP as soon as possible. It can take a long time to recover from postnatal depression, but early treatment can reduce the length of suffering and its severity.
Remember, we are always here to talk xx

👋🏻SAY HELLO TO THE TEAM👋🏻

So many NEW likes, shares and bookings recently, new babies & families joining us and so from our tribes to yours…we thought we’d SAY HELLO 🫶🏻

👋🏻 Hi everyone, I’m Brooke

For those of you that don’t already know me, I’m the owner of Baby Sensory North Huddersfield and Baby Sensory Halifax and I run classes at our own dedicated early years centre, THE WOW CENTRE on a Monday, Wednesday & Friday, I run our Sensory Saturdays and 1st Birthday Parties too 🎂🎈

I’ve been running classes in North Huddersfield for 9 years and I JUST LOVE IT!!

You’ll probably see the passion I have for Baby Sensory for yourself over the next few weeks!! I love to meet and get to know you and bond with your babies.

I have 2 daughters, Florence & Willow and like many of you I also started my Baby Sensory journey on the mats 10 years ago with my youngest daughter.
I fell in love with the classes, I was instantly drawn to them and have never let go.

Then we have the gorgeous George, our F A B U L O U S, creative goddess of a Class Leader who runs sessions on a Tuesday & Thursday at the centre but also some weekend sessions too.

💚💛 George, mummy to 3 beautiful children who are all Baby Sensory graduates.

💛 George “I first discovered Baby Sensory with my eldest and have had 3 amazing journeys (plus two Birthday parties🥳)…so it’s safe to say I am a veteran Baby Sensory ‘mum on the mat”🤣

💚 I LOVE being a Class Leader at the WOW Centre.

🌟For me, Baby Sensory has always been the highlight of our week. It’s magical and unique. Not only a chance to meet other mums but also have precious one-on-one time with your baby, whilst having fun and bonding with them.

🌟NOT only that, the HUGE effort, knowledge and research that goes into every aspect of the classes, made me love Baby Sensory even more! Backed up by science the classes are structured, stimulating and creative which for me sets it apart from EVERY other baby class!!

We can’t wait to welcome and see you all soon! Brooke & George xx

Therefore, we will be cancelling today’s classes and emails will be sent today with information about your catch-up class. Sorry for the inconvenience but you’re safety is paramount to us xx
