Well we’ve certainly had our share of rain today but we’ve been rewarded now with a beautiful rainbow.

For the first time ever, the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race will be making a stop in Scotland. Yachts are expected to arrive in Oban after crossing the Atlantic between 12th and 16th July 2024 and they’ll stay until the next leg of the race starts on 21st July.
We’re 10 minutes from Garelochhead station on the West Highland Railway line so come and stay with us and combine a visit to see these yachts and a journey on one of the world’s most scenic railways.

If you’re looking for something to do that’s unique, the last sea going paddle steamer in the world, the Waverley, calls at Kilcreggan in July and August. We’re 5 minutes by car, 10 minutes by bus, right to the pier so come and stay and experience a trip on this lovely old lady.
