We’ve had amazing 5***** reviews since we launched our little holiday cottage in June last year. People seem to be loving it just as much through the winter as the summer. Let’s see what this year brings!

DECEMBER
“Beautiful house in a secluded location. Lovely pubs and walks nearby, and a very friendly log fire. Perfect for when you want to get away from it all!”
NOVEMBER
“Absolutely fabulous location and a delightful cottage. Thoughtfully presented with everything you need for a break, long or short. Close to St Keverne for shops and pubs. We had a delightful stay, thanks to Deanne and John, in this cosy, comfortable and warm cottage. All our friends love the photos we posted. We hope to be back there as soon as possible!!”
OCTOBER
“Beautiful location, easy to find with clear directions from Deanne. Fire lit on arrival. This is a tiny but comfy and cosy cottage (not for the over 6 footers though!) Gunnera and banana palms right outside the bedroom window.... just loved watching the raindrops on the leaves. Wild flower planting.... so in touch with nature, especially as no WiFi or phone signal. Bliss! Everything we needed and very clean.”
SEPTEMBER
“We had a lovely holiday at this cosy little cottage in peaceful surroundings. Cottage was well equipped and spotlessly clean, with comfy furnishings. Great base for walking and nice log burner for cosy evenings. Near enough to a shop, and eating places, and owners were friendly and very helpful. Would recommend to anyone who wants a peaceful escape in good surroundings.”

“A beautiful, traditional Cornish cottage, which has been sympathetically restored. Everything was provided for a relaxing and comfortable stay. We loved the peace and tranquillity of the surroundings, especially in the secluded woodland garden, with so much wildlife and impressive plants to see. Thanks Deanne, we hope to return sometime.”
AUGUST
“You will not be disappointed if you book here! The cottage is like something out of a fairy tale, in the most idyllic tranquil setting and close to a great little village with all amenities you would need. The cottage had literally everything you needed with a good selection of games, DVDs and a good guide to the area. Not one single complaint and would highly recommend! Thanks for being great hosts.”
“Great cottage! Such a nice getaway from city life. Beautiful surroundings, tranquil setting. Great pub within walking distance (Three Tuns). Close to Kynance Cove, Mullion Cove and all the other locations I visited Cornwall to see. Deanne is fabulous. Super friendly and helpful. Cottage was thoughtfully renovated and full of character. All the amenities you need. Warm rooms, hot shower, clean etc. Highly recommended stay! Thank you.”
“A hidden gem! Four great days spent here. The property was extremely clean and had all the amenities required/advertised. The property is in a beautiful/peaceful area but just a short walk (15 minutes) to the village with great pubs, restaurant and shops for additional needs. We used the cottage as a base to explore the SW Coast Path on the Lizard peninsula. Deanne, the property owner, greeted us on our first day and was very helpful and friendly throughout our stay. We would recommend this property and hope to return again in the future.”

“It’s an absolutely amazing place to be if you’re looking for an environment in which to unwind and disconnect from a busy modern lifestyle. The location is simply beautiful, the renovation and decor stunning, with so much attention to detail. It makes a refreshing change to see how much care has been taken to create a truly wonderful holiday home. Deanne and John are lovely hosts, so friendly and very keen to help with any queries. Nearby to St Keverne - on foot or by car - which offers a village store and a couple of nice pubs with good menus. And of course great access to all the beauty that Cornwall has to offer. I would not hesitate to recommend this place and will definitely return in future!”
JUNE
“Deanne and John’s cottage is truly beautiful. Tucked away amidst the tropical plants and trees, we really felt as though we had stepped into a tropical rainforest. We were so happy relaxing in this beautiful place, drawing and reading in the garden with its amazing surroundings and silence - we only wish we had stayed longer! We spent two lovely days here - the location is perfect, just a short walk across the fields to St Keverne with two great pubs. We enjoyed the cottage so much we didn't feel the need to leave! but enjoyed exploring the coast and beautiful villages nearby on our bikes. You are really at one with nature here and if you are looking for a peaceful weekend away I cannot recommend it enough. Deanne and John were also wonderful hosts, so kind and friendly, and they made us feel right at home in this beautiful cottage. They helped us with directions on our way, gave us plenty of recommendations and were lovely to talk to. Thank you Deanne and John for everything, we hope to return soon!”
“Little hideaway! We had an amazing few days here. The property was spotless and had everything you'd ever need. The location was beautiful and very peaceful, just what we were looking for. Our hosts were lovely and helped out with some local recommendations. The little village has all you need with some great pubs and very friendly people. We used it as a base to explore the Lizard and cycling/walking around the area. Couldn't recommend this place enough if you like to have peace and beauty on your doorstep.”
