Our move to Cornwall
A year ago we decided to make the steps needed to semi retire to Cornwall selling our house in Norfolk and moving to beautiful Cornwall getting here for early summer of 2017, we purchased our 8 birth caravan within 2 months of moving here, having spent some time looking at different parks around Cornwall, Parkdean Mullion to us was one of the best sites and the caravan we purchased i have say is on one of the best plots in the park a nice corner plot with a veranda and grass area on the sycamore all privately owned caravans.
Sited in The lizard peninsula, Cornish people call it gods country when you spend time here you can see why, it has some of the most stunning breathtaking rugged scenery beautiful coves, beaches towns and villages i have ever seen.
Our first year running the caravan was interesting having never done anything like this before, we had a fantastic group of guest last year some great reviews were left in our guest book at the caravan and on line which we are really please about as this was a new venture for us. 2017 we really only just dipped our toes into running the business, so as you can imagine we are really excited for our full 2018 season to start, meeting some of last years guests that have rebooked with us already and our new guest and their family’s. So heres to an exciting semi retirement and running my own business at a ripe old age of 60......................
