Happy New Year! ❤️ It's been a glorious day down in The Lizard 🦎. Little Pentire and Pentire Studio are open all year round. So if you are suffering the winter blues and want a change of scenery, come and enjoy winter blues of a different kind 🌊💙.

After walking the coast path, spotting seals and choughs you can relax and look around the village where the shops, pubs and cafes are waiting to welcome you 🥰

As the sun sets on 2023, it's time to take a moment to reflect on the year. We've certainly packed a lot in, with lots of people coming to stay, buying a Motorhome to add to our rental portfolio, and taking 5 weeks off to go on our own adventure around France 🇫🇷 in the Motorhome following the Rugby World Cup.

But I do love coming home..........

The Lizard is still (to me) the most fantastic place on earth to live and Alan and I love it when our guests, new and returning (many with their beloved pooches) share our enthusiasm and passion for everything this little part of Cornwall has to offer.

This year, Little Pentire has been the place of a proposal ❤️ she said yes 💍 😍 , we've had honeymooners, birthday celebrations, solo travellers looking for rest and respite, sisters, friends, but the one request i wasnt expecting was that of a couple wanting to bring their pet gerbil 😅😅😅 Timmy was probably my favourite guest of the year and followed all the house rules!! He was accompanied by the lovely Louise and Jack and I believe he had a very restful holiday 😀.

Who knows who will come and stay with us next year, but from Alan and me (Rachel), we wish you a very Happy New Year, cheers and good health to all 🥰❤️

I've had had a cancellation for the 18th July, 7 nights for my gorgeous Studio apartment in the heart of The Lizard Village. You don't have to book all 7 nights, it's a 3 night minimum stay and you can bring your dog for free!!

The Lizard Village has lots to offer with pubs, cafes, restaurants, shops and the best ice cream ever at The Lizard Ice Cream and Fudge Shop. But of course the biggest attraction of all is the coastline and the glorious walks along the South West Coast Path 😍 to Kynance Cove, Cadgwith Cove, Mullion Cove. 🌊🏖💙❤️💙🌞

Beautiful evening with friends down at Poldhu to see out the Summer Solstice. I feel so lucky living in this beautiful part of Cornwall where I can just head to the beach, relax and listen to the waves. Life doesn't have to be complicated..... ❤️❤️❤️🌊🌞

This morning's walk to Kynance Cove was just beautiful but I cannot believe we are half way through the year already 😭.

If you haven't visited The Lizard and Kynance Cove, I still have some availability in July and August for you to see for yourself just how stunning this area is!

You can chose from Little Pentire, Britain's most Southerly Shepherd's Hut 😁, her big sister Pentire Studio 😁 or if you are wanting a camping experience with a lot more luxury, book a pitch at one of our local Campsites and we will deliver our Motorhome - The Duchy to you 😍😍😍.

We are situated in the heart of The Lizard Village 🦎 and just a scone's throw from some amazing walks along the South West Coast Path.

For those of you wanting to experience the laid back vibes of our wonderful Cornish Campsites, but in a more luxurious way, you can hire The Duchy - our fabulous Motorhome 😍😍. We will deliver it to your chosen campsite and set it up, so you don't have the worry of driving a motorhome around our narrow Cornish roads!!

We have availability throughout June, July and August, on a Saturday to Saturday basis. Accommodation is for 2 adults and 1 child, 1 dog is welcome.

What a stunning day in beautiful Kernow 😍 Kynance Cove looked magnificent at low tide and it was practically deserted ❤️

I usually walk from Poldhu to Gunwalloe, but decided today to walk in the opposite direction over to Pollurian Cove! Just as beautiful and the waves were stunning 😍 🌊

On the bus from The Lizard to Helston for a festive afternoon out with the girls 😍😍
I love this journey, although it does take an hour 🤦‍♀️ but it passes my favourite beach Poldhu ❤️ and that puts a big smile on my face!

Little Pentire Shepherd's Hut - The Lizard Village is available (due to cancellations), over Christmas and New Year for just £65 a night. With underfloor heating you will be toastie warm on these wintery nights ❄️. Our beautiful Coastline is basking in Winter sunshine, and it is definitely warmer here, than up North 😄. So have a break in The Lizard and enjoy spending time in this amazing part of Cornwall 😍.

Now the main holiday season is over and Little Pentire is not quite as busy, I got a special treat of a day at Rick Stein's cookery school in Padstow! My Christmas present from Alan ❤️. What a fantastic day for a foodie! Huge thanks to for a wonderful day cooking delicious food 😋

There's something about Autumn sunsets here in The Lizard 😊❤🧡💛

Pentire Studio (Little Pentire's big sister) has had a cancellation in October and is now available from the 17th (have a look at Pentire Studio - The Lizard Village on FB)

The coastline is magnificent, the walks amazing and last week we were treated to Blue Fin Tuna leaping put of the water at Lizard Point 😃😃😃

Both the Studio and Shepherd's Hut are open all your round. So come and take advantage of everything The Lizard has to offer 😍
