Our golden girls have just been milked, then we’re straight to pasteurising for the weekend whilst they enjoy some brek 🌾

Yay! The A30 is open, now making the journey down a smooth one for everyone. 🤞

After four years, the new dual carriageway section of the A30 between Chiverton Cross and Carland Cross is open to drivers.

Low bar fresh water lake on the left and Low beach salt water on the right!

Loe Bar has changed over the centuries thanks to a process called longshore drift.

There is a strong south-easterly current that runs along the beach that links Porthleven to Gunwalloe that dumps shingle on the bar.

Interesting stuff but it all makes for a great walk!

For education and fascination, there's spellbinding history to uncover around every corner. Birch, Birch and Co. originally opened its doors in 1690 - the preserved shop front was spotted and later purchased by the Flambards team in 1979 before 're-opening' in its new home of Cornwall!

Two-day adult sailing courses this May at Stithians Lake ⛵️

Super walk which takes you to the sea!

With longer hours of daylight ahead of us and (hopefully!) some warmer weather around the corner, there's more opportunity to enjoy some time in nature at Penrose.

The Stables cafe is now open 10am - 5pm every day for fresh coffee, cake, sandwiches & toasties on the go or to be enjoyed at one of the courtyard picnic benches.
