If you’re a lover of great food … this hotel will look after you well … this is just a selection of our dishes at lunch at the Gennadi Grand - wow!
I’m incredibly proud to be part of the Travel Counsellors community, and I’m thrilled to share that as a company, we’ve just hit record sales figures of £1 billion! This fantastic achievement wouldn’t be possible without the support of valued customers like you. I truly appreciate you trusting me, and my wider Travel Counsellors support colleagues, to take care of your holiday requirements. It’s something that I take great pride in, and I value the relationship we’ve built. Thanks a billion!

Another thing that Grenada is known for is Artisan chocolate… the Belmont Estate offers an interesting tree to bar experience and explains the full process of organic chocolate making. The estate still grows other crops too and we saw cocoa pods on the tree & tasted cashew fruit. There was fermenting, drying and packaging going on and the various flavours of chocolate were available for tasting too! We also had a relaxing buffet lunch here which was included with our tour. #puregrenada
The Martini Bar - we enjoyed handcrafted cocktails being made under the LED chandelier in the Grand Plaza … these guys just love their job! #tcxbeyond #CelebrityBeyond #journeywonderFULL
So this is going to be where I’m ‘working’ for the next 3 days - can’t wait to see Celebrity Beyond and what she can offer my clients!
Mmmm lunch is ready!
Next stop - Wadi Rum! With lunch waiting for us .... The Martian was filmed close by and I had a yurt style Martian Pod for the night with a couple of hours to relax before we set off into the sand dunes to watch the sun go down....
Here’s hoping for some good ‘green’ news on this week’s traffic light update …. but if there isn’t any … how about this ‘green’ instead?
The events of the past year have taught us many things, including the fact that being able to spend quality time with family and friends has never felt so important.
We’ve missed exploring the world with the people that mean the most to us and as we look forward, I’ll keep your wellbeing at the heart of everything I do.
I hope you enjoy reliving your travel memories with us as you watch our film, and when you’re ready to travel again I’ll be here for you, both for trips around the UK, and to distant shores.
Our wonderful world.....
Can't wait to start exploring again once Covid is tamed .... lots of places are tentatively opening their doors again and testing protocols are getting easier.... roll on 2021 and beyond!
Travel Counsellors on lunch break - can you see me?
This short video has been put together by just a few of my local Travel Counsellor colleagues this week. We’ve still been working every day to get each and every client home safe and well from far flung parts of the world. Being home based, we’re not furloughed and we can still be contacted for all our clients travel needs and concerns and to reorganise their cancelled bookings.
I would love to get all my clients away again as soon as possible, near or far, but the world will wait and by then it will be more beautiful than before ... so for now, stay home, stay safe and let’s speak again soon!
So.... one of the top things to do in Vancouver ..... is go whale watching.... and we had an absolutely amazing day! This is ‘Windy’ the humpback according to the ID listing and the markings on her tail..... she came to us & stayed with us appearing each side of the boat for quite a while.....
Whilst we were out of WiFi having a break .... this is what we were up to .... amazing ship, amazing scenery .... this was the closest the ship had got to Hubbard Glacier all season! Well done Captain Leo 😘
I love the Fairmont hotels.... and this is the Fairmont Château Lake Louise... still the only hotel on Lake Louise - can you believe the lake becomes a huge outdoor skating rink in the winter!
We had a lovely drive from Calgary to Banff ....around 90 minutes in the sunshine.... and this was our first activity....
