Sidings, part of Carriages restaurant positioned just a few minutes drive from Beechcroft Holiday Homes. A new venture for Hereford, two refurbished train Carriages beautifully restored and complimented with a great outside courtyard with a water feature to admire while enjoying a coffee and cake. The second train carriage is a gorgeous farm shop, credit to Sidings for promoting only locally sourced produce. The menu is small yet lovely, we had eggs Benedict on crumpet and a warm focaccia with goats cheese and caramelised onion …no pictures , forgot and ate to quickly 🤣 but we will be back

The Piggery was our second holiday home to be completed in 2020 and has become one of the most popular for families and adults with dogs. Over the last 4 years we have collected a few ‘Pig’ novelty ornaments but this gorgeous little crochet pig was thoughtfully made by our last guest. We were blown away when we found him, named ‘little pig’ we hope our future guests will enjoy seeing him as much as us

Our second ride out this year in glorious weather, taking us through bishops Frome and over to the Little Versons cafe at the Nest on the Ledbury road , a 14 mile ride there was well worth the rewards sat in the sunshine enjoying a breakfast. Our travels back took us through Yarpole with a traditional stop to see the Llamas, all 3 were looking beautiful and if you’re visiting us at Beechcroft the cafe and farm shop is worth a little visit. Enjoy this sunny Sunday 🌞

What a beautiful bouquet of flowers 💐

has recently opened a shop on Church Street. One of our favourite streets in the town centre full of small, local, independent businesses. It is also right next to the Cathedral so perfect for some sight seeing too.

Next time you stay with us, why not take a trip there and treat yourself to a bouquet of flowers? It’s a lovely set up where you can chose your own stems to create a bouquet or they can make something up for you. The prices are very reasonable too. The lilies in this bouquet smell absolutely divine 🫶🏼

Best of luck with the new business we will definitely be back for more!

Fair weather riders this was the first ride out for us in 2024, our stop off at the secret garden is just a 10 minute drive from Beechcroft holiday homes, serving local beers and food, with a great outside space to enjoy the sunshine. This morning I started the day with a walk at Aylestone park, the sun is out again today for us all to enjoy, wishing you all a lovely day 🌞🌞🌞

Good walk today at Credenhill Park Woods, paths have dried out …although that didn’t stop Fizz and Bailey getting muddy 🤷‍♀️ had a lovely catch up with .stephens.77

Our busiest day of the week , saying goodbye to guests leaving and welcoming guests arriving, time for the first mow of the year and a few spring shrubs starting to bloom , taking time to appreciate nature at Beechcroft Holiday Homes 🌸

Spending the day with these little ones, we travelled to Leominster Leisure Centre for Soft Play and then onto Newton Court Cider for brunch, our first visit here which didn’t disappoint, we had the breakfast menu which is available until 12 midday. I chose eggs with avocado on Peter Cooks sourdough, Jarrod had a full English breakfast and the boys had sausages, beans and toast with apple juice. All local ingredients which tasted lovely. We also bought some of their own cider to take away. This is a great place on a rainy day with plenty of space for little ones to play at the table and we will be back 😊. Now back home for Lego time @

Miserable wet Sundays- why not spend it in a lovely country pub like the baiting house, a 30 minute drive from Beechcroft, this week we tried the Ham and chicken hock with an egg yolk and the cheese soufflé with a homemade bread & marmite butter , followed by beef and lamb , Mark, as always is a warm and friendly manager always wanting to make sure you have everything you need , including topping up with drinks and extra gravy, which we always appreciate 😊

We love the for food. It is lovely for coffee and cake, breakfast, brunch or dinner. They also have sister restaurants next door and on the next street. There really is something for everyone! We love to support local businesses in Herefordshire.

The staff go the extra mile and today they bought out the children’s pancakes before the adults. This was really thoughtful. They also provided an extra plate so the children could share and put the sauces in little pots for them to choose what they wanted on their plate.

All of the food was absolutely delicious as always 😋

They have recently renovated the entrance to the restaurant and outside area and this looks beautiful.

Thank you to , graham, Bev and the whole team who invited us at Beechcroftholidayhomes to attend the Annual Sykes event, we felt completely spoilt at Silverstone, staying in the hotel with a room on the finishing line of the track. We had a lovely day and evening celebrating amongst holiday homeowners who have built successful businesses offering guests outstanding holiday homes experiences, and it is fair to add that Clare Balding was a great guest speaker 😊😊 back home now ready for changeovers again tomorrow and new guests arriving

Sunday morning walk at Haugh Woods, we chose to go off track and get amongst the trees, plenty of walking routes from short to over an hour , lots for dogs to enjoy and ours is now flat out ❤️

Morning at soft play in Hereford and then into Hereford to Watch the starlight company in hereford city centre where there is often something to watch, and always somewhere to grab a coffee, or ice cream in this weather ! and this special one dancing . Well done to the girls, totally committed despite the hottest day of the year in Hereford

After a busy Sunday morning baking cup cakes and cleaning for our new guests arriving this afternoon we had an amazing Sunday lunch at the Baiting House. We know this is a regular post, but the quality of the food is so good 😊 need to book though, very busy !

Did you know…it’s not just the human guests that get welcome treats at Beechcroft 🧁🦴

As dog owners ourselves, we know how special it is to be able to bring your dog along on your holidays. That’s why, in some of our holiday homes we allow you to bring your dog along 🐾🐶

Each holiday home has its own enclosed private outdoor space (with a hot tub of course🛁 ) and there is also an enclosed communal green space to be enjoyed by all guests. Perfect for letting the dogs have a little run around 🐾

PS. Rumour has it the cakes are the best some humans have tasted…who agrees?!

Sunday bike ride this week took from Beechcroft through breinton, and into Hereford for a brunch at the Bookshop. Great for bikers who can sit out the back under cover but with ease of keeping an eye on bikes. I chose Avocado on toast with poached egg, Jarrod had eggs on toast with smoked bacon. It was delicious, came quickly and supplied with energy for our route home last Hampton Dean and Dormington.

We love this time of year at Beechcroft 🚜

It’s lovely to see the local farmers working on the fields. Those guests in Lugg View get to enjoy a view of the field from the balcony area in the holiday home.

A lovely place to sit and relax with a coffee in the morning, or with a beer in the evening after a busy day of exploring 🍻☕️

Saturday lunch in Hereford at Dough we decided on the classic dough , smoked bacon and egg on sourdough and mushrooms and spinach with paprika scrambled eggs on sourdough. The food is good and the cafe has a nice atmosphere. Such a nice place to spend catch up with friends and family

A wet Saturday afternoon, we popped into the Nest, 15 mins from Hereford this is a little Gem of a place, a garden centre with a cafe selling local produce and producing great food. They stock locally created Herefordshire gifts, books, toys, accessories etc.

An afternoon and evening out in Hereford with friends, we ventured to the De Koffie Pot by the River Wye for a beer and then onto Leaven Pizza, on our way we passed the beautiful Cathedral ❤️

Leaving London today after working away I thought I would take a few snaps of the Landmarks as I walked back to the station. Herefordshire is a beautiful place to live but I love London for all that it offers , and Pret Coffee is my favourite ❤️

A lovely Sunday drive to Hay on Wye for a Coffee followed by Sunday lunch at Drovers Rest Farm Kitchen, set in rural Herefordshire, a unique set up offering Sunday lunches cooked in an outside kitchen , serving wine that gives back donations to rehabilitate rhino’s back into the wild
