Don't forget as from today (08 Jan) non European nationals will require a UK ETA. GBP£10.

The ETA system is currently available for non-European nationals, with applications having opened on November 27, 2024. From January 8, 2025, the ETA will become mandatory for travel to the UK for non-European nationals.

For European nationals, applications will open on March 5, 2025, and the ETA requirement will become mandatory from April 2, 2025. You can find the full list of eligible countries and dates here: Gov.uk ETA Guidance.

Starting in the first half of 2025, passengers travelling from a number of countries, including the UK, will need an ETIAS travel authorisation to enter 30 EU countries.

Just saved a client a nasty experience as they had booked direct.

Please check passport ISSUE date. Your passport is only valid for 10 years from date of issue and must have at least 3 months validity.

Thinking of a Greek holiday - the Greek Tax will be increased -
As it stands the tax is
- Apartments – 50 cents/night/room
- 1 and 2 star hotels – 50 cents/night/room
- 3 star hotels – €1.50/night/room
- 4 star hotels – €3.00/night/room
- 5 star hotels – €4.00/night/room

From 1st January 2024 guests will be charged as follows:
- 1-2 stars - €1,50/night/room
- 3 stars - €3.00/night/room
- 4 stars - €7.00/night/room
- 5 stars hotels and any villas - €10.00/night/room
