You’re warmly invited to a special fundraising concert!
Join us for an evening of music and connection with Ukrainian musician Galina Grigoriadi on Sunday 22nd June at 5:00 p.m., hosted in the beautiful setting of Black Mountain Barns, Longtown.

Before the concert, you’re welcome to take part in a Ukrainian polyphonic singing workshop, starting at 3.00 p.m. — a unique opportunity to explore this rich vocal tradition.

All proceeds from the event will go towards supporting Fetch Theatre’s work in Ukraine, including theatre art sessions and the development of a community play with young people during our planned visit next year.

This is our first fundraising event for this important project, and we’d be so grateful for your support.

Strong Roots: A Ukrainian Family Story of War, Exile and Hope

A beautiful review by Barbara from our latest tour to Romania.

“I have just returned from my tour with Nataliya and Tania in Transylvania and feel so happy, full of wonderful memories. Thanks to Nataliya‘s and Tania‘s extensive knowledge and connections, especially with the community in Hosman, I was able to discover an amazing and rich country. We went on a birdwatching tour, visited talented and passionate artisans, a hearty shepherd family, travelled in a horse-drawn cart through a fairytale landscape full of wildflowers, took part in impromptu cooking and singing worshops, visited a Sunday market and much more. On one hike, we even discovered a bear‘s foodprint! We were often invited to families‘ homes for dinner or tea and cake. We learnt so much about their warmth and lives and also picked up some recipes. Without Nataliya and Tania, I would never have gained so much insight into Romania. It was a awesome week that I will never forget. Romania will also remain in my heart forever. This was my second tour organised by Nataliya and I will definitely join more of her tours. I can highly recommend her.”

Big thanks to Joachim Friedrich Cotaru and the team.
