Campsite review.

Park Cliffe campsite
Location
Windermere, Lake district
Pitch type and size
It was early September so only a couple of other tents. Pitch where you can find a flat spot. Large enough but not allocated. Rock pegs are a must.
Facilities
Toilet and shower facilities were clean but the site was empty so could be different during busier times.
On-site bar, restaurant. Great woodland climber style play park. The park is not in sight of the camping field.
Campsite overview
Good campsite in a great location for walking. The restaurant and bar is a bonus. Not sure how busy it would be in peak season but it was quiet when we were there.
Our children are young so having the park so far away would be an issue on a longer stay. Couldn't fault the staff or service. The site has a stream running through it which would be great in the warmer weather.
For who?
Definitely walkers and families (maybe with older children)

Yes but when our children older.
